Supermac's TikTok
Working with Supermac's, Ireland's beloved homegrown fast food brand, was an absolute blast, especially when it came to shaking up their TikTok strategy. Known for their cheeky humour and an epic "David and Goliath" legal victory over McDonald's for the "Big Mac" trademark, Supermac's is a brand with a story to tell and a hell of a personality to express.
As the lead creative for Supermac's TikTok content, I was responsible for aspect of the process—from concept development to production and copywriting. My role included filming and editing TikToks, sometimes solo and other times collaborating with videographers.
One of my standout projects was leveraging my Swiftie knowledge to create a viral TikTok in anticipation of Taylor Swift's Eras tour stop in Ireland. Whether starring in the videos myself or working with collaborators, (or cardboard cutouts in this case), this account often felt like a creative playground, as Supermac's enthusiasm for pushing content boundaries gave me the freedom to really play with both the platform's possibilities and expand my own skillset.
The trust Supermac's placed in our team allowed me to swiftly capitalize on trends, making the most of my quick editing skills to turn around fresh, timely content that resonated with audiences. The results were spectacular, often exceeding expectations in engagement and reach.
Below, you'll find a highlight reel of some of my favourite TikToks created for Supermac's during my time on the account. And if you want an even bigger taster (pardon the pun) head to @Supermacs over on TikTok.
