About Laura

Hello and welcome to my funky corner of the internet!

My name is Laura Duffy and I am an independent Artist and Creative Strategist based in Melbourne. (although born and bred in Ireland ☘️)

By designing eye-catching prints that are often threaded with strong positive messages of empowerment, I love to always find new ways to make people smile through my work. I often weave many pop culture references into my illustrations and content and particularly enjoy creating a sense of nostalgia and connection with my fellow Gen Z/ Millenials, (being a ‘98 baby, I’m right on the cusp so I count myself lucky enough to relate to both.)

I’ve been working as a creative in the marketing space for over 7 years. I’ve earned my stripes shifting from account management roles to creative strategy and production after discovering that my interest lay more in the ideas and creation phase. Although my experience in account management has resulted in my work ethic, organization and efficiency being some of my most applauded aptitudes.

I have been honoured to work with many incredible individuals and brands such as Google, Netflix, Meta, Supermac’s, Hope Macaulay and many many more, creating creative assets to amplify brand awareness and engagement primarily on social. I consider myself a bit of a creative swiss army knife and have experience across a multitude of mediums and projects. Whether it’s illustration, content creation, short form video, campaign strategy, branding design, animation, scriptwriting, production management or social media strategy, if it requires creativity and the outcome helps your audience find you, then I’ve probably tried my hand at it.

My work has been kindly featured and reshared by many online and print publications such as The Irish Times, RTE.ie, STELLAR magazine, KISS.ie, Woman’s Way Magazine, The Gloss.ie

There are also many social causes and organizations that I passionately support through multiple fundraisers and projects such as MASI- Movement for Asylum Seekers Ireland, Dublin Rape Crisis Center and Breast Cancer Ireland. I am always eager to make time for projects working towards gender equality, LGBTQAI+ rights, racial justice, mental health awareness, sustainability and body acceptance.
